Photogrammetry is a method to measure and interpret standard photos as well as accurate survey photos to determine the location and shape of an object.
We use aerial images, acquired using highly specialized analog and digital cameras, to model the surface of the earth. The images are precisely oriented in the national or in global coordinate systems, which makes it possible to measure visible elements without physical contact in 3 dimensions. The aerial images and the obtained data are imported into a geographical information system to conduct further spatial analysis.
